Goal 9: Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation

Overall advancement in the gathering had, starting at now, reliably declined even before the scene. The pandemic is hitting manufacturing organizations hard and causing aggravations in overall worth chains and agile things.

İTÜ is fully committed to integrating the concept of sustainability into innovation and entrepreneurship fields. On the one hand, the University is focusing on collaboration between academia, industry and public authorities, on the other hand, we are introducing novel undergraduate and postgraduate level interdisciplinary courses that foster innovation design through sustainable development.

The accompanying exploration ventures have been explicitly adjusted to Sustainable Development Goal 9, and the intend to assemble strong framework, advance comprehensive and manageable industrialization and cultivate advancement. These ventures and activities are instances of the University's commitment to the SDGs.

ITU AUV Team is the World Champion

ITU AUV team became the world champion in the Autonomous Underwater Vehicle Competition held in Singapore and made us proud. The joy of our team, which waved the flag of our country and the banner of our university in Singapore, was remarkable. (30 Sep 2022)

Great Investment in the Enterprise Co-Founded by Our Graduate

Insider Company, co-founded by ITU Computer Engineering graduate Mehmet Sinan Toktay, received 121 million dollars investment, reached a valuation of over 1 billion dollars and thus rose to the status of “unicorn”. (04 Mar 2022)
