Safe, economic and aesthetic lighting armatures with low energy consumption and energy-efficient appliances have been adopted in indoor and outdoor areas. All washing machines, refrigerators and other electronic devices in campus dormitories have been replaced by Class A energy-efficient appliances. The majority of electronic devices used in the tea rooms on campus are also energy-efficient devices. The whole rehabilitation works regarding reducing the energy footprint of the existing buildings are conducted according to the İTÜ Strategic Plan covering the period of 2017-2021.
