Istanbul Technical University (ITU), in its 250th founding anniversary, organized the International Boron Symposium (BORON 2022) that focused on the strategically important element, boron, for Turkey. The symposium was held in collaboration with Eti Maden and TENMAK and took place at ITU's Ayazağa Campus Süleyman Demirel Cultural Center from October 5 to 7, 2022. The symposium featured comprehensive discussions on boron mining, boron industry, and advanced boron technologies in light of current developments.
