İTÜ ARI Teknokent, founded on an area of 1,655,000 m2 with 10 buildings, enabling over 2800 successful R&D projects (148 of which patented) and $40 million exports to contribute to the national economy, carries out various programs for companies and entrepreneurs including:
• İTÜ Seed, the Early-stage Incubation Center for entrepreneurs that want to turn their ideas into commercializable products or services
• İTÜ Magnet, the Late-stage Entrepreneurship Center for entrepreneurs and start-ups that succeeded in turning their ideas into products,
• İTÜ Gate, the International Entrepreneurship Accelaration Program for companies that are to introduce their products to the global market,
• İTÜNOVA TTO, the technology transfer interface of ITU that aims for commercialization and protection of the academic data and providing multi-purpose support to help them succeed.
İTÜ is a big family of total 4126 employees, with 2174 of it academic staff. The leading academic area in İTÜ is STEM with 2174 academic employees. It is followed by Arts&Humanities and Social Sciences with 267 and Medicine with 18 members. İTÜ has 67 spin-offs in total. The total research income is 1,701,981,450.89 TL (300,173,095 USD) with 99% of it in STEM area, 1% in Medicine, Arts&Humanities and Social Sciences.
