Our university is undertaking educational outreach activities such as, summerschools, volunteer education programs for school teachers, Istanbul teacher academies, social responsibilty projects with ÇODEM (children supporting centers), İTÜ Science winter school, İTÜ GINOVA Entrepreneurship Certificate Programs, Volunteered Carier Advisory for MTAL students, etc.
Other than public activities, our library and its resources are completely accessible to our graduate. Furthermore, access to these educational resources is provided to students and academicians from other universities by providing daily and yearly guest entrance. Besides, our departments provide a wide range of seminars that can be followed by anyone online. Some examples are as follows: İTÜ Molecular Biology and Genetics Department-Molecular Biology-Biotechnology &Genetics Research Center Seminars, ITU Astronomy Days, ITU Science and Technology Summit Seminars. The İTÜ Continuing Education Center provides education open to the general public on 41 different topics.
