Guaranteeing equal rights of employees if/when outsourcing activities to third parties
ITU is a state university which guarantees the equal rights of all the employees. In the event that the activities are carried out in public places or carried out by third parties the same policies are followed for equal rights.
Equivalent rights of outsourced workers are covered under the scope of the following policies:
- Anti-Bribery and Corruption
- ITU Directive on Preventing Sexual Harassment and Gender
- Gender Equality Plan
- Disability
Facilities and Hospitality
Our university policies extend the same social benefits and statuses to contracted workers as those enjoyed by our own personnel. Temporary contracted staff at the university can benefit from cafeteria facilities and personnel services, similar to the benefits enjoyed by ITU staff. Although fees are charged, they are proportional to employees' wages and significantly below market prices.
