Pilot Composting Unit was operated in the campus for future projects as alternative for food waste management. C/N ratio and other indicators such as pH and moisture are promising for full scale activities.

Sustainable waste management is important in terms of Climate Change. Because the uncontrolled management of waste causes more raw material consumption and the formation of greenhouse gases.
