The 16th Robot Olympics (İTÜRO), organized by the Istanbul Technical University Control and Automation Club (İTÜKON), was held at the Süleyman Demirel Cultural Center at ITU's Ayazağa Campus from May 2-4, 2024, with the participation of middle school, high school, and university students.
Attending the opening ceremony, our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Deniz emphasized in his speech that one of the most important aspects of the Robot Olympics is that it enables different scientific disciplines to work together. He stated that such large-scale events organized by ITU student clubs are a source of pride for the university.
The three-day event featured competitions in seven different categories with robots developed by participants, as well as panels, exhibitions, and workshops on robotics science.
