Europe is facing multiple crises - armed conflicts, socio-economic instability, environmental destruction and growing inequalities - at the same time as the demographics are shifting to an increasingly ageing population. With this joint statement EELISA partners emphasize that these challenges can be overcome by young researcher’s determination, creativity and innovative solutions.

Young researchers face economic, social and unequal access to resources challenges they need to overcome to create innovative solutions to global challenges.
