Istanbul Technical University (ITU), which declared 2024 as its “Year of Global Impact,” continues to make headlines with the international successes of its project teams. Students from the ITU Seismic Team returned with an award from the “2024 Seismic Design Competition” organized by the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute (EERI), based in the United States.

Participating in the competition held in Seattle, USA, between April 9-12, 2024, as one of more than 40 teams, the ITU Seismic Team was awarded the “Most Improved Team Award” for its earthquake-resistant building design.
