The traditional 251st ITU Day, held on May 26, 2024, brought together our graduates from different generations and their families. As part of ITU Day, graduates who have completed 20 and 30 years in their professional careers were presented with plaques at their faculties, while graduates who have completed 70, 60, 50, and 40 years were presented with plaques at ceremonies held at the Süleyman Demirel Cultural Center at the ITU Ayazağa Campus.

At the opening of the ceremony, which brought together ITU alumni from different generations, our Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Koyuncu emphasized that Istanbul Technical University graduates are a source of inspiration for new generations. Highlighting the scientific contributions our graduates have made to our country and the world through their achievements, he said in his speech:

“The traditional ITU Day, held without fail every year, actually shows how deep-rooted and strong the bonds of the ITU Family are. The scientific and technical culture of our institution, which has produced many artists, scientists, inventors, engineers, architects, and bureaucrats from the 18th century to the present day, undoubtedly draws on these strong bonds.” Click here for details.
