As Istanbul Technical University celebrates its 250th anniversary, it continues to take part in international projects for a sustainable future. ITU, Azerbaijan Technical University and Tashkent State Transport University came together at the workshop titled “Silk Road in the 21st Century: Modern Technologies of Transport and Logistics” held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan on June 15, 2023.

Speaking at the workshop, which aims to bring a new perspective to modern transportation and logistics sector and is also an important step towards the development of transportation and logistics between the three countries, our Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Koyuncu said, “As in every subject, both governments and companies will become more conscious day by day thanks to the trainings on sustainability. As people’s awareness of sustainability increases, environmentally friendly practices will become much more widespread.”
