Within the scope of the project, ITU expanded the specially allocated bicycle and electric scooter lanes within the campus. With the Traffic Directive, the pedestrian priority system has been implemented. Rental bikes are available in 8 locations. ITU Ayazağa campus consists of 3 electric vehicle charging stations, each of which has 1 rental electric vehicle. As a result, ITU aims to reduce the contribution of both on-campus traffic and the traffic caused by the need for students and staff to enter/exit the campuses, to greenhouse gas emissions, and to achieve sustainable transportation.
