A cooperation protocol was signed between İTÜ Eurasia Institute of Earth Sciences (İTÜ EIES) and Chiba Institute of Technology in Japan. This protocol is aimed to examine the geoarchaeological samples that will be collected with the permission of the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Culture and Tourism from archaeological sites including Göbeklitepe, Çatalhöyük, Kaman-Kalehöyük.

Within the framework of the protocol, it is targeted that both scientists and graduate students work together in the stages of collecting geological and geoarchaeological samples, performing their laboratory analyzes and preparing them for publication by interpreting.
