Boğaziçi Elektrik Dağıtım A.Ş. (BEDAŞ), which continues its efforts to strengthen the electrical infrastructure of Istanbul's European side in preparation for the major earthquake expected in the Marmara Region, has signed an important cooperation agreement with Istanbul Technical University (ITU). According to the protocol, BEDAŞ, ABE Teknoloji A.Ş., and ITU MATAM (Istanbul Technical University Marmara Active Fault Hazard and Risk Application Research Center) under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Cenk Yaltırak, will record acceleration sensor data collected in real time.
