The Climate Change and Water Resources Workshop, organized in collaboration between Istanbul Technical University (ITU) and the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA), was held at the Süleyman Demirel Cultural Center on ITU's Ayazağa Campus. The opening ceremony of the workshop, which took place on September 23-24, was attended by our Rector, Prof. Dr. İsmail Koyuncu, the Chairman of TÜBA's Environmental, Biodiversity, and Climate Change Working Group, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Aydın, TÜBA President Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Şeker, General Director of the State Hydraulic Works (DSİ) Prof. Dr. Lütfi Akca, and the Governor of Istanbul, Ali Yerlikaya.
