Istanbul Technical University (ITU) announced the evaluation report on the flood disaster in the Bozkurt district of Kastamonu. The report, supported by ITU Satellite Communication and Remote Sensing Center (UHUZAM) images, includes striking findings. In the report prepared by ITU scientists Prof. Dr. Ali Deniz, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Duran Şahin, Prof. Dr. Azime Tezer and Assoc. Dr. İsmail Dabanlı, the main causes of loss of life and property in the region as a result of the flood and overflow disaster in the Western Black Sea Region on August 11, 2021 were reported.
