The "Additive Thinking Conference," organized by the İstanbul Technical University (İTÜ) Additive Manufacturing Team on May 24-25, 2022, began with the opening speech of our Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Şule Itır Satoğlu, at the İTÜ Süleyman Demirel Cultural Center. The conference, attended by representatives from the additive manufacturing sector, academics, and students, aims to strengthen the connection between the business world and students.

In her opening speech, Prof. Dr. Şule Itır Satoğlu, our Vice Rector, stated, "Student activities at our university hold a very important place among our academic endeavors. One of the strongest aspects of İTÜ is the importance and value it places on student activities and student clubs."

Prof. Dr. Satoğlu added, "Flexible and rapid production, personalized and sustainable products; within the global competitive environment, these have fundamentally changed the production processes of countries. We, as Istanbul Technical University, want to be on the side that guides and directs this change, rather than just adapting to it."
