A workshop aimed at raising awareness of sustainable development goals was organized by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Börte Köse Mutlu, the Coordinator of İTÜ Sustainability Office, Prof. Dr. Hatice Ayataç, a member of İTÜ Sustainability Commission, and Mr. Çelebi Kalkan, a teacher from the Ministry of National Education (MEB). Students who participated in the workshop created posters on various themes such as oceans, water, health, soil, and farming using various waste materials.

Simultaneously, Dr. Assistant Prof. Emrah Çoraman, the Chairman of the İTÜ Commission for the Conservation and Sustainable Use of Biological Diversity and Ecosystems, conducted a comprehensive field study throughout the day, named "Counting Species" (Bio Blitz), with the participation of numerous experts from different universities, to identify species that have chosen İTÜ Ayazağa Campus as their habitat.
