A total of 30 matches were played in the ITU Staff Football Tournament, which began on October 30. The tournament ended with the final match played on December 20 at our Central Astroturf Field in Ayazağa Campus. At the end of the tournament, SKS BAP became the champion, BEP Spor came second, and the Faculty of Civil Engineering came third by default. The top scorer of the tournament was Alper Can Gündoğdu from SKS BAP.

ITU Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal presented awards to the first, second, and third-place teams, as well as to the staff member who secured the top scorer title. The Rector congratulated the teams that placed, and thanked all the players, coaches, and the organizing team for their efforts. Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal emphasized that at ITU, academics, administrative staff, and students will continue their work with the understanding of learning together, developing together, and succeeding together in every area of life, from science to art, technology to sports.

The ITU Staff Football Tournament has been held annually during the fall and spring semesters for 35 years with the aim of promoting sportsmanship and encouraging sports. Both academic and administrative staff can participate in the tournament. The tournament aims to strengthen unity and solidarity and to foster a sense of belonging to ITU on the field.
