Professor Filiz Karaosmanoğlu, Faculty Member of the Department of Chemical Engineering at Istanbul Technical University, received an award from Female Founders in the “Green Transformation Project” category.

The Female Founders Turkey Awards Ceremony, held for the first time this year, took place at the AKM Theater Hall in November 2025. The ceremony, organized to highlight women's leadership, entrepreneurship, and inspiring success stories in Turkey, presented 21 awards in various categories.

Prof. Dr. Filiz Karaosmanoğlu, Faculty Member of the ITU Department of Chemical Engineering and President of the Sustainable Production and Consumption Association (SÜT-D), was awarded the “Green Transformation Project” prize in the field of “Sustainability.”

Prof. Dr. Karaosmanoğlu is a pioneer in raising environmental awareness and promoting circular economy and green transformation through her projects.
